DREAM has added another fighter to its roster as according to Stash Capar of The Fight Network, PRIDE veteran Gilbert Yvel has signed a three-fight deal with the promotion, with his first opponent likely to be Alistair Overeem. In Japan, the heavyweight is known for being a ratings booster, along with his explosiveness and at times, bad behavior within the ring; specifically, Yvel has been disqualified 3 times in the past for biting an opponent, an eye gouge and attacking and knocking out a referee (a big no-no in MMA). Yvel’s last bout was a victorious one as he defeated Michael Kita earlier this year.
