Uozomi vs. Yajima Added To Sengoku 11th Battle Fight Card
A pair of newcomers will make their World Victory Road debut as it was announced that Ryota Uozomi will take on Yuichiro Yajima in a bantamweight bout at WVR’s Sengoku 11th Battle, which is scheduled to take place on November 7 from the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan and will be broadcast in North America via HDNet.
Uozomi, during his six-year career, has fought for organizations of different sizes, including DEEP and GCM; he will be making his WVR debut with a 6-1 record since 2004. His most recent bout back in August against Ryuko Wada resulted in a no-contest due to an accidental groin kick.
Meanwhile, Yajima, a veteran of ZST and Pancrase, has alternated wins and losses during his last 6 fights; his most recent bout was on October 17, a victory over MMA newcomer Hiroyuki Nakajima via submission. With this addition to the WVR event, the fight card looks like this:
