UFC To Do Charity Event

Another fight card has been added to this year’s UFC schedule as UFC president Dana White announced on Wednesday during the live broadcast of UFC Fight Night 15 that the promotion will offer a card on December 10, named “UFC Fights for the Troops”.  The fight card will take place and be hosted at Fort Bragg, a military installation based in North Carolina; the card will be broadcast on Spike TV.

White said that the proceeds of the card will go to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a not-for-profit organization which provides financial support to the families of deceased and severely wounded military veterans; competitors for the event have not yet been named as of this writing.  Once the card shapes up, Octagon Buzz will pass that information on to you along with up-to-date MMA news.
