While a 13-bout MMA fight card is excellent, fans of DREAM, World VictoryRoad and K-1 will be in for a treat as two more bouts have been added to Dynamite!! 2009, which is scheduled to take place on December 31 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The two bouts that were added are Shinya Aoki taking on Mizuto Hirota while Tatsuya Kawajiri faces Kazunori Yokota.

Currently the DREAM lightweight champion, Aoki is coming into this event having won five of his last 6 bouts, with his lone loss coming at the hands of Hayato Sakurai; this will be Aoki’s 4th appearance at this New Year’s Eve event. Meanwhile, Hirota is fighting for the first time since laying claim to the WVR Sengoku lightweight title with a TKO win over former champ Satoru Kitaoka back in August.

Kawajiri is looking for his fourth straight victory in 2009 and had been rumored to be in a potential matchup with Aoki, but took the fight with Yokoyo instead. Yokota, on the other hand, also is looking to sport a perfect 4-0 record in 2009; he has amassed a 5-1 record under the Sengoku banner, with his only loss coming against former champion Kitaoka.
