What is it with these athletes from other sports that makes them think just because they’re athletes (or former athletes) that they can just step into the Octagon and fight someone? Yet I think that “MMA syndrome” has affected former boxing champion James Toney. Fanhouse’s Ariel Helwani, in an interview with UFC president Dana White, had the unenviable task of also hearing Toney pimp himself.

Dana should put him on the next The Ultimate Fighter so he can see how the other half lives. Hopefully, Dana won’t pull a Strikeforce and sign him to a contract.
