Eleven bouts grace the fight card for Strikeforce: Miami, scheduled to take place on January 30 in Sunrise, FL at the BankAtlantic Center, featuring such bouts as Nick Diaz vs. Marius Zaromkis for the vacant Strikeforce welterweight title and Cris Cyborg defending her Strikeforce women’s 145-pound belt against Marloes Coenen.
Also featured on the card, former NFL football player Herschel Walker makes his MMA debut when he takes on Greg Nagy while Bobby Lashley makes his Strikeforce debut when he battles Wes Sims.

Lashley May Face Wesley Sims At Strikeforce: Miami
As has been previously reported on MMAJunkie.com, Strikeforce officials had confirmed that Bobby Lashley will not face Jimmy Ambriz at Strikeforce: Miami on January 30, which means that the promotion has to start from scratch in finding a suitable opponent for Lashley.
It looks like they found a living, breathing opponent once again.
Based on a report over at WrestlingInc.com, that opponent comes in the form of former The Ultimate Fighter participant Wesley Sims; Sims, for those who caught TUF recently, know that Sims’ notoriety is that he was knocked out in the first round of his first fight. The report further states that Strikeforce hopes to get this fighter approved by the end of this week.
