With WEC 46 less than two weeks away, Wagnney Fabiano all of a sudden finds himself without an opponent as first reported on “The MMA Show”, Fabiano’s original opponent, Frank Gomez, suffered an undisclosed injury during training. Despite the recent development, Fabiano is expected to remain on the card.
Although the specific nature of Gomez’s injury wasn’t disclosed, he is expected back to return in the spring of 2010. While an opponent is being sought for Fabiano on short notice, here is the tentative fight card for WEC 46, scheduled to take place on January 10, 2010 from Arco Arena in Sacramento, CA:
