Swick vs. Goulet Set For The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale

It looks like at least one fight has been penciled in for The Ultimate Fighter 8 – The Finale as according to FiveOuncesOfPain.com, welterweights Mike Swick and Jonathan Goulet are likely to grace the octagon on December for the event, set to take place in December 13 in Las Vegas, NV; verbal agreements are in place, but no written fight agreements have been signed as of this writing.

Swick and Goulet had been originally signed for a bout nearly a year ago at UFC Fight Night 11; however, Dustin Hazelett took Swick’s place after Swick had to pull out due to an injury. He underwent surgery to remove bone chips from his elbow earlier this summer.  Swick’s last two wins came over Josh Burkman and Marcus Davis; Goulet, on the other hand, has picked up 3 consecutive victories – one of those wins outside of the UFC in his native Canada.
