At this point it is nothing more than a rumor, but the buzz going on right now has Kimbo Slice gracing the Octagon against Houston Alexander at UFC 107, set to take place on December 12 from Memphis, TN., with the main event pitting B.J. Penn against Diego Sanchez.
A source close to the development/rumor is saying that although no agreements have been signed, at least one of the fighters has been approached about the possible bout. Slice is coming off his recent appearance on The Ultimate Fighter 10 and his loss to – of all people – Roy “Big Country” Nelson.
Meanwhile, Alexander finally got in the winner’s circle, courtesy of a TKO over Sherman Pendergarst at Adrenaline IV back in September – this following three consecutive defeats in the UFC.
