The UFC 108 fight card is fast filling up as Sean Sherk, according to WICombatSports.com, says that he will participate in the event; says Sherk:
“I’m fighting January 2 against Rafaello Oliveira. I haven’t studied him yet but I know he has fought my training partner Nick Lentz in Dallas. Lentz beat him, and he’s been able to give me some good advice on him.”
Sherk was to originally take on Gleison Tibau at UFC 108, but due to an injury to Tibau, plans changed. Sherk’s last fight was at UFC 98 when he lost in a unanimous decision to Frankie Edgar. UFC 108 will take place on January 2, 2010 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, with the headline but being Rashad Evans taking on Thiago Silva.
