Penn To Fight Winner Of Fitch-St. Pierre Bout

B.J. Penn

B.J. Penn is looking to move up to 170 pounds in order to face the winner of the Jon Fitch-Georges St. Pierre fight, which will take place at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN, according to Jason Perkins of fightline.com; assuming a fight is inked between Penn and the winner of this bout, it could take place at the UFC event on December 27 in Las Vegas.  Penn is also keeping tabs on the Kenny Florian-Roger Huerta fight, as well; Penn has said that he plans to retain the lightweight title despite challenging for the welterweight title and will likely face the winner of that matchup.  Penn has also left open the possibility of moving up to the middleweight division after cleaning up the lightweight and welterweight divisions over the course of time.  Stay tuned to Octagon Buzz for more developments; with Penn, you can rest assured that there will be some.
