One More Fight For Couture In UFC?

It is just mere speculation at this point, but MMAJunkie.com is reporting that Randy Couture may yet step into the octagon once more for the UFC by perhaps as early as years’ end; specifically, Couture may return to the UFC for one fight as part of an out-of-court settlement that will allow him to walk away from the UFC immediately after the bout – not unlike Tito Ortiz.

This situation stemmed from a lengthy legal battle between Couture and the UFC regarding Couture’s contract.  Couture said at a press conference last year that the “lack of respect” shown to him by the UFC after being one of the promotion’s biggest draws led him to “retire” from the UFC.  Couture hasn’t fought since last August when he scored a TKO win over Gabriel Gonzaga; neither Couture nor the UFC were able to be reached for a comment regarding his return.  When more developments in the Couture situation unfold, Octagon Buzz will bring them to you, along with up-to-date MMA news.
