Nick Strickland and his goal to bring MMA to Africa

I had the pleasure of having a short interview with Nick Strickland about his mission to bring MMA to Africa. And here it is:

KH: Tell us a little bit about and how you gained an interest in helping bring MMA to Africa?

NS: My name is Nick Strickland, I’m originally from Zimbabwe. I now live in the United Kingdom and have done for past 5 years. Being an African and growing up there I know first hand the difficulties and hardships people go through day to day. This project will secure jobs and help the future of mma in Africa and world wild! I wanna take what I love to the place I love.

KH: What made you decide to bring your ideas to fruition and begin actively lobbying for your cause?

NS: hard work pays off! And me just sitting on my backside id be like every other person who wants to do some good! I’m firm believer in that.

KH: How long have you been pursuing this goal?

NS: Been at it just over a year.

KH: What things do you hope to achieve by your mission to bring MMA to Africa?

NS: Like I said before, it’s all about creating jobs and securing the beautiful sport!

KH: Finally, where can people go to find you and help/support your efforts?

NS: You can find me on my twitter ( @nickstrickland3 ) my NEW website and check out

I’d like to thank NIck for a great interview and for all hes done for MMA as a sport. Go check him out, this is a great cause!
