Liddell To Return To UFC?

Will Chuck Liddell ever return to the Octagon? Kind of hard to say, based on the war of attrition between the former UFC light heavyweight champion and UFC president Chuck Liddell.
But what is known is this. According to an interview that took place on Good Day LA recently, Liddell seems to think that there’s still some gas in his tank, fighting-wise. According to the Iceman:
“After this [Dancing With The Stars] I’m gonna spend some time with my kids, because I’ve been away for a while, and then I’ll talk to Dana, I’ll talk to my trainer and we’ll see what we’re gonna do.”
He further added:
“It’s not completely up to him, we’re gonna argue about it. I still think I’ve got something left. If he can convince me I don’t, maybe I’ll retire. Maybe I can convince him I still got something left and I want to fight. We’ll see what I gotta do to convince Dana. I’m gonna work at it real hard.”
Rather tough to predict what Liddell will eventually do after his DWTS stint, but I think there’s a couple good fights left in the Iceman and wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him in the Octagon sometime in 2010. Look who White allowed to return to the UFC – Mark Coleman – ’nuff said.

Whitey Hudson:
I think the fact there is so much debate over the topic says something in itself.

if chuck ever returns to the ufc, then that would be f’ing awesome, cuz chuck is one of, if not, the best fighter of his lifetime. when he returns, he will have to be in the best condition in his carreer, fo there still is some pretty tough fighters fighting in the octagon now. i just wanna wish chuck the best of luck on his return. the icemans legacy WILL continue.
