Lashley Signs With Strikeforce
The MMA evolution continues for Bobby Lashley as he has signed a contract with Strikeforce and will make his debut on January 30 when the organization visits Miami.
Lashley’s resume is rather limited; those of you who follow WWE already know that he made his name there and has just 4 fights of record in MMA. While he is promising, his opponents thus far have been, in a phrase used in pro wrestling, “jobbers”. In other words, fodder which only enhances Lashley’s win-loss record.
It will be interesting to see who Lashley’s next opponent will be (why does Phil Baroni come to mind here?), but I hope that as opposed to his previous victims opponents, he will be a quality combatant.
