Lashley May Face Wesley Sims At Strikeforce: Miami
As has been previously reported on MMAJunkie.com, Strikeforce officials had confirmed that Bobby Lashley will not face Jimmy Ambriz at Strikeforce: Miami on January 30, which means that the promotion has to start from scratch in finding a suitable opponent for Lashley.
It looks like they found a living, breathing opponent once again.
Based on a report over at WrestlingInc.com, that opponent comes in the form of former The Ultimate Fighter participant Wesley Sims; Sims, for those who caught TUF recently, know that Sims’ notoriety is that he was knocked out in the first round of his first fight. The report further states that Strikeforce hopes to get this fighter approved by the end of this week.
