Kim, Lytle To Meet At UFC 110

At least one fight has been inked for UFC 110 as Dong Hyun Kim will take on Chris Lytle at the yet-to-be-announced event, which will take place on February 21 at Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

Although UFC 110 would be the UFC’s first trip down under, UFC U.K. Division president Marshall Zelaznik said that the event was nearly a done deal, adding:

“Even with Australia, we’re still finalizing all the little pieces that come together. You know us. The rumors are always out there way before we’re official with anything. But obviously we’re all talking about these events. We’re talking about them with the anticipation that we’ll be able to deliver them.”

The undefeated Kim (3-0 in the UFC), although his loss to Karo Parisyan was overturned due to a failed post-fight drug screen by Parisyan, narrowly defeated Matt Brown in a split decision back in September 2008 and also holds wins over T.J. Grant and Jason Tan; six of his 12 career victories have come by either TKO or knockout.

Meanwhile, Lytle (6-9 UFC) has three “Fight of the Night” awards with wins over Kevin Burns and Paul Taylor sandwiched around a split decision loss to Marcus Davis.
