UFC 111, scheduled to take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, has at least one fight signed as UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre will defend his title against Dan Hardy sometime during the month of March 2010.
Winner of six straight fights, St. Pierre is a cut above the rest in terms of conditioning and technique; that could be evidenced by GSP’s dominating win over Thiago Alves recently. Meanwhile, you have a young gun in Hardy (23-6, 4-0 UFC) who is no slouch himself. With his most recent win coming over Mike Swick, Hardy’s conditioning and striking could provide the stiffest test for GSP to date.
When more fights get inked for UFC 111, OCtagon Buzz will have them for you, so stay tuned.
