Fisher, Guillard Added To UFC 90

UFC 90 is slowly getting their fight card together as Tom Hamlin of MMAWeekly.com reports that lightweights Spencer Fisher and Melvin Guillard will meet each other at the event, which will take place in Chicago, IL on October 25; both fighters have received and are in the process of signing their bout agreements.  For some reason, Spencer’s trainer, Pat Miletich isn’t happy about the matchup, stating,

“Spencer has no reason to fight that guy.  I don’t think Melvin’s earned the right to fight him yet. I think Spencer should be fighting somebody where he’s got something to gain.”

Fisher is coming off a tough win over Jeremy Stephens at the Ultimate Fighter Finale on June 21.  Guillard, on the other hand, has had mixed results in the UFC after debuting on the second season of The Ultimate Fighter; his most recent win was over Dennis Siver at UFC 86.
