DREAM, Sengoku To Co-Promote New Year’s Card
Although Sengoku has cancelled their New Year’s Eve card, that doesn’t mean that the 0rganization won’t be busy; on the contrary, they will be doing something a bit different.
Wednesday found FEG (DREAM’s parent company) and Sengoku announcing during a press conference that the two promotions will work together to put on a super card on December 31. Dynamite!! (the usual event name) will feature 19 bouts with between 5-7 of the fights coming from World Victory Road (Sengoku).
The often-rumored fight between Satoshi Ishii and Hidehiko Yoshida, a main event fight, appears to still be on – although Yoshida apparently hasn’t received the memo. Other fighters scheduled to participate include: Shinya Aoki, Kazushi Sakuraba, Hayato Sakurai, Hideo Tokoro and Akihiro Gono.
