Couture vs. Coleman Likely For UFC 109
It looks like two of the more highly decorated and respected veterans of the UFC will meet in the Octagon as Randy Couture and Mark Coleman have verbally agreed to a bout at UFC 109 on February 6; the news was initially reported by Sherdog.
In his last fight, Coleman earned a unanimous decision over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 100 while Couture escaped with a win over Brandon Vera at UFC 104. Both fighters will be facing each other professionally for the first time; however, they did meet once in a tournament back in 1989, in which Coleman defeated Couture by a single point.
