It looks like Randy Couture is in negotiations to take on Rich Franklin in June, according to Sherdog.

Couture has confirmed that he ahs been approached with the proposed matchup and that it’s in the early stages of planning and negotiation and could hinge on any film commitments Couture may have.

Couture recently fought at UFC 109, earning a TKO win over Mark Coleman and is 2-0 since moving to the light heavyweight division, with his other victory coming against Brandon Vera.

Franklin, after his TKO loss to Anderson Silva, moved up to the light heavyweight division; his debut at that weight class was successful as he defeated Matt Hamill. He would subsequently lose a close decision to Dan Henderson before taking a pair of bouts against Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort, respectively. He would emerge victorious against Silva while suffering a TKO loss to Belfort (his most recent bout).

Assuming Couture signs a fighters agreement, the bout would likely take place in June at UFC 115.
