Belfort-Lindland Bout At Affliction In Jeopardy?

One of the bigger bouts at the second Affliction show on October 11 could be in trouble as MMA Junkie is reporting that the fight between Vitor Belfort and Matt Lindland could be scratched; specifically, a source close to Belfort has said that the middleweight fighter has been slowed by a lingering hand injury.  Belfort had been given a 180-day medical suspension by the California State Athletic Commission after his win over Terry Martin for undisclosed medical reasons – although one must think that the hand injury may play a part in that.  Belfort could be cleared early by a doctor, but any sign of an actual hand injury could make an October fight very unlikely.
